Coronavirus has changed the way we live our lives, but our basic needs have stayed the same. That includes keeping ourselves and our families fed and stocked with essential day to day supplies.
This crisis has seen our appreciation for the men and women working at retail’s frontline soar. During the difficult days of lockdown, these seemingly ordinary people are true heroes, putting their own health and safety at risk for the good of their communities and the wider population.
We launched the #YourCustomersSayThankYou portal as a place where people like you and me, and others who can stay safely at home, can write messages of support directly to these heroes.
Thibaut Carlier, Critizr's CTO says "This initiative fits perfectly with Critizr's mission: our local conversation platform was designed exactly to bring local store staff closer to the end customer. In this strange period, we think this project makes sense... a lot of sense." Thibaut was one of the powering forces of the portal alongside Souad Alia, Head of Product.
To date the portal has collected over 10k thank you messages in the UK and over 25k in France (which was launched two weeks prior to the UK). Here's just a few of the amazing thank you messages we have collected to help motivate our nations local teams:
